Basant Panchami

Basant Panchami, Nidhi vidya bhavan School was filled with the vibrant hues of spring. A special Pooja and Shlokas welcomed Maa Saraswati -the Goddess of Knowledge- to bless our children in their learning endeavours. Wearing yellow attire symbolizing the blooming mustard flowers, teachers and students reveled in joyous classical dances that resonated throughout the school premises. Through passionate speeches on Vasant Panchami’s importance, we were reminded why this is such a beloved festival celebrated every year: it marks renewal; new hope for better beginnings now that winter has come to an end! Our hearts are full after witnessing our little ones fueled by enthusiasm as they shared in these delightful festivities together!

Flower Arrangement Competition

Flower arrangement competition was organized for classes 1 to 10th to enhance students’ creativity. The students used decorative material and flowers to make any of the dry or fresh flower arrangements on their selected theme. The participants used their creative skills and imagination to design their floral arrangements that were evaluated on the basis of the idea, theme, creativity and presentation. This competition provided a wonderful opportunity for the students to showcase their talent by creating colorful and vibrant bouquets. It was a wonderful sight to behold.

Annual science fair

Science fair or engineering fair is an event hosted by a school that offers students the opportunity to experience the practices of science and engineering for themselves. In the United States, the Next Generation Science Standards makes experiencing the practices of science and engineering one of the three pillars of science education. Students perform some sort of research and then present their experiment in a model or other display format.

International Yoga Day

The school organized The International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2023, which is celebrated all over the world. This idea was proposed by our honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. He said, “Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfilment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help in well-being.”

On 2nd October school teachers & students participated in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has become a ‘Jan Andolan’ receiving tremendous support from the people. Citizens too have turned out in large numbers and pledged for a neat and cleaner India. Taking the broom to sweep the streets, cleaning up the garbage, focussing on sanitation and maintaining a hygienic environment have become a practice after the launch of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. People have started to take part and are helping spread the message of ‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness.’

The main objective behind celebrating ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was to make the children aware of the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. The vibrant, colorful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambiance of the classrooms.
